The original BOSS 302s were produced in 1969 in conjunction with the Race car that competed in the SCCA Trans-Am Series. Now, 42 years later, Ford is producing the BOSS 302 once again. This 2012 Ford Mustang BOSS 302 is truly a special limited edition car and fitted with the optional Laguna Seca Package, will surely become a collectible in the future. From the factory, the engine produces 444 horsepower and 380 lb.-ft of torque. This engine is identical to the one in the 302R race car that competed in the Rolex Grand-Am Series. 0 to 60 times are 4.1 seconds and the quarter mile in 13.2 seconds. The addition of the Laguna Seca Package makes the BOSS 302 a virtual race car for the street. The package includes a massive front splitter, rear wing, and special black and red paint. In addition, the rear seats have been replaced by a sturdy brace, the suspension has been retuned, and factory Torsen limited-slip differential and Pirelli R-compound tires were installed.
This one owner BOSS 302 has been well cared for since new.
