Champion Motors International presents a very original, nicely optioned 1981 Chevrolet Corvette finished in two-tone Silver Metallic over Charcoal Metallic with a Charcoal leather interior. This Corvette has 2,378 original miles and has just been acquired from the original owners estate. The car is in very nice condition and includes original paperwork, window sticker, Bill of Sale and odometer statement from HB Chevrolet in Flushing, New York.

The 1981 Corvette was the first model year to be built simultaneously in two locations. Chevrolet production would move from the old St. Louis plant to a brand new high-tech facility in Bowling Green, Kentucky. This plant was solely dedicated to production of Y-body Corvettes and would use the latest automated manufacturing processes, thereby improving quality control, especially in paint application and new clear coat finishing processes. Out of the 40,606 Corvettes produced in 1981, only 8,995 were produced in Bowling Green, KY. This is one of the 8,995.
