The 1970 LS6 Chevelle was Americas King of the Streets. In 1970, there were the Big Dogs and then there was everyone else. Having a small block under the hood didnt cut it anymore at the stoplight grand prix. The name of the game was horsepower and the more, the better. The king was RPO Z15 with the LS6 engine. This option delivered 45 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque. This combination delivered quarter mile times in the 13 second range.
