Exotic Classics presents a 1968 Plymouth Barracuda Fastback Resto-Mod finished in Lime green with a white interior. The car is in very nice condition.
Originally built in Hamtramck, Michigan with a 318 2bbl engine, this 1968 Barracuda has gone through a complete metamorphosis into a one great looking and driving ride. The exterior, interior and drive-train of the car have been restored and modified with many new modern components and features. The original stock 318 motor was replaced with a 360ci, 390 horsepower Mopar crate motor coupled to a Tremec 5 speed using a Kessler Keisler Engineering conversion. A new driveshaft was added as well as a new Dana 60 rear with 355 gears. The stock K-member was replaced with a new custom made chrome alloy tubular K-member with a splined sway bar, rack & pinion steering, tubular shock towers, coil-overs and tubular upper and lower control arms. The rear has custom made 2 lowering springs from Eton Springs. New disc brakes and brake lines were installed all around along with a new fuel tank and fuel lines. Equipment on the engine includes a high performance mechanical fuel pump, March pulleys, Tuff products alternator, A/C pump, water pump, and power steering pump. A Barry Grant 650 Demon Carburetor, MSD Ignition (including box distributor and wires), engine wiring harness, headlight harness and dash harness were installed as well. The interior has been fitted with a new tilt column, carpet, modern gauges and much more.
With the lime green paint, chrome wheels, white interior and aggressive engine roar, this 1968 Barracuda Fastback is ready to enjoy.
