This Buick is one of only 2,489 Super convertibles made for 1956, accounting for less than one-half of one percent of 1956 Buick production. The car has been the subject of a nut & bolt restoration in the original colors of Red over White two-tone, with marching Red and White interior, and White convertible top. The restoration was done body-off, and is documented by a photo album and receipts. Factory power options include steering, brakes, windows and seat. In October, 2013, this car won the Best Buick award at the prestigious Americana Concours. It is a car you can drive or show with pride. The 1956 Super is powered by a 322 CI V8 putting out 255 HP. For improved performance, this car is currently running on a 4-BBL Edelbrock carb. The original air cleaner is included. The transmission is Dynaflow automatic. While the original radio is in place, there is a concealed Sony Pandora AM/FM/CD with four speakers and remote control.
